Since we all work in the world of healthcare communications we have no choice but to engage in the digital warfare that is now a very real part of everything we do.  This year's inaugural HCMA Conference and In Awe Awards Dinner will focus on the interactive world we work in every day and bring together people from inside our industry as well as outside so that we can gain a better understanding of how interactive media will be utilized in the future.

The theme for the conference reflects our goals for this auspicious event:

• The annual conference is a place to interact with your colleagues from the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, diagnostics, and medical device industries
  
  
• The conference format will be highly interactive with interactive workshops that will provide a forum for you to interact with the panelist as well as each other
  
  
• The theme for all sessions will relate to the impact that technology and interactive media will have on healthcare communications over the next 5 years

We have selected a central venue, Dallas, to encourage all of the members and potential new members of HCMA to attend this important first conference.  It is a great opportunity to be part of the launch of this exciting new professional organization that is the only professional group dedicated to your career growth and development through education and networking.  We hope that you will take this opportunity to attend the conference as well as attend the In Awe Awards Dinner where we will celebrate the tremendous talent we have in our industry.
